Hi there, I am Olivia
Project manager. Parent. Expat living in Toronto, Canada.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
Origins
Moving to Canada wasn't part of the long-range plan. Like many expat relocations, it started as a work opportunity and quickly grew into something far larger.
The initial months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Daily tasks seemed more challenging than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural adjustment, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt secure.
Why I Built Sage Maple Crest
Much online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Canada.
